We are pleased that you are interested in our company and our products and services. We want you to feel secure when visiting our websites and not to worry about the confidentiality of your personal data, because we take this very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal provisions on the protection of personal data and this privacy statement. We strictly adhere to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and other national data protection laws of the Member States as well as other relevant legal provisions. We want you to know what data we collect and when, and how we use it.

General information on data processing

1. Scope of processing of personal data

In principle, we only collect and use personal data from our users to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Personal data of our users is only collected and used with their consent. An exception to this rule is in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.

2. Legal basis for processing personal data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 letter a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data. Art. 6 para. 1 letter b of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. The same applies to processing operations necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. Art. 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR serves as a legal basis insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which our enterprise is subject. Article 6, paragraph 1, letter d of the GDPR serves as a legal basis if the processing of personal data is necessary for the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. Art. 6 para. 1 letter f of the GDPR serves as the legal basis if the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our enterprise or a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject prevail.

3. Data deletion and retention period

The personal data of the data subject is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the recording ceases to exist. In addition, data may be retained beyond this period if the European or national legislator has so provided in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. The blocking or deletion of data also takes place when a retention period prescribed by the above-mentioned standards expires, unless the retention of data beyond this date is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

Non-personal data collected automatically

For organizational and technical purposes, the following data is stored during the use of our website:

  • information about the type of browser and the version used
  • user's operating system
  • user's Internet service provider
  • user's IP address

For this purpose, the user's IP address is stored for the duration of the session. In addition, we use this data to identify cases of misuse and to document and prevent attempted misuse.

The use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in or by the Internet browser on the user's computer system. This cookie contains a characteristic segment that allows the browser to be clearly identified the next time the website is visited.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website also require us to be able to identify the originating browser even after it has left the page.

On this occasion, the following data are stored in the cookies and transmitted:

In addition, we use cookies on our website to analyze the user's browsing habits. In this way, the following data can be transmitted:

The user data collected in this way is pseudonymized by technical precautions. Therefore, it is no longer possible to attribute the data to the user in question. The data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

When visiting our website, users are informed by an information banner about the use of cookies for analytical purposes and are referred to this privacy statement. At the same time, they are also informed about how to prevent the storage of cookies in the browser settings. These functions require that the browser be recognized even after a page change.

We require cookies for the following applications:

  • basket

The use of analysis cookies (browser, Java Script functionality, screen resolution, terminal used, bandwidth, location) is intended to improve the quality of our website and its content. Analysis cookies provide us with information about the use of the website and can thus continuously optimize our offer.

The cookies are stored on the user's computer and are transmitted by the user to our website. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or limit the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your Internet browser. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time. • first and last name,

We use these functions on the basis of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a and, if the conditions are met, Art. 6 letter b of the GDPR.

Use of Facebook plug-in

On our websites, we use social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from the social network facebook.com operated by Facebook Inc. 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plug-ins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue background, "Like" button or "thumbs up" symbol) or identified by the words "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins?locale=fr_FR. If you call up a website that contains such a plug-in, your browser basically establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers and, without your consent and without you pressing the button, transmits data to Facebook, where it is stored on the servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and then integrated into the website. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects with this plug-in and can only inform you about it to the extent of our knowledge: http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=17512.

By activating and integrating the plug-in, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page on our website. If you are logged into Facebook, the application can link the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-in and, for example, press the "Like" button or add a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook, where it is saved. If you are not a member of Facebook, the application may still learn your IP address and save it. For more information on the purpose and scope of this data collection and further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights and options for privacy control, please refer to the Facebook privacy policy:

http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want the application to collect data about you through our websites and associate it with your Facebook membership data, you must log out of the application before visiting our site.

Use of Twitter

This offer uses the buttons of the Twitter service. These buttons are provided by Twitter Inc, 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are recognizable by words such as "Twitter" or "Follow" associated with a stylized blue bird. With these buttons, it is possible to share an article or page from this offering on Twitter or follow the provider on the app. When a user calls up one of the web pages that contains such a button, his or her browser establishes a direct connection with Twitter's servers. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted directly from Twitter to the user's browser. The provider therefore has no influence on the extent of the data that Twitter collects by means of this plug-in, and therefore informs the user to the best of its knowledge. For example, the user's IP address will only transmit the URL of the corresponding website linked to the button, but will not be used for any other purpose than to display the button. More information about this can be found in Twitter's privacy statement at https://twitter.com/fr/privacy. You can change your data protection settings on Twitter in the account settings at: https://twitter.com/account/settings.

If you have exercised your right to correction, deletion or restriction of data processing vis-à-vis the controller, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom your personal data have been communicated of the correction or deletion of data or the restriction of data processing, unless this proves to be impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to obtain information about these recipients from the controller.

6. Right to data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. In addition, you have the right to transmit such data to another controller without the controller to whom the personal data was provided having any objection, provided that

  1. the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 letter a GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR and
  2. the treatment is carried out using automated processes.

In exercising this right, you also have the right to request that your personal data be transferred directly from one controller to another, insofar as this is technically possible. The rights and freedoms of third parties may not be affected by this. The right to data portability shall not apply to the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

7. Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR; the same applies to profiling based on these provisions. The controller will no longer process your personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or that the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. If your personal data are processed for the purpose of marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such marketing. If you object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for such purposes. You have the possibility of exercising your right to object, in the context of the use of information society services using technical specifications - notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC - by means of automated processes using technical specifications.

8. Right to revoke the declaration of consent under data protection law

You have the right to revoke your declaration of consent at any time under the law of personal data protection. The revocation of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

9. Automated individual decision, including profiling

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing - including profiling - that produces legal effects concerning you or affects you in a significant and similar way. This does not apply where the decision:

  1. is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between the responsible party and you;
  2. is permitted under European law or the law of the Member State to which the controller is subject and where such legislation contains appropriate measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and your legitimate interests or;
  3. is based on your explicit consent

However, such decisions may not be based on particular categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR unless Art. 9 para. 2 letter a or g applies and appropriate measures have been taken to protect your rights and freedoms as well as your legitimate interests. In the cases designated in points (1) and (3), the controller takes appropriate measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms as well as your legitimate interests, including at least your right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express your point of view and to contest the decision.

10. Right of appeal to a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged breach if you believe that the processing of your personal data is contrary to the GDPR.

Modification of the confidentiality provisions

We reserve the right to change our data security and privacy provisions if required by technical developments. In this case, we will also adapt our data protection instructions. Please refer to the current version of our privacy statement.
