Toolmaker (m/f/d) - Stamping technology

Are you just as interested in precise work on lathes, grinding machines and milling machines as you are in assembling stamping and forming tools? Do you enjoy implementing projects as part of a team? Do you like to work out solutions to problems in order to meet various customer requirements? Then training as a tool mechanic (m/f/d) - stamping technology should be just right for you and you will certainly enjoy it.

Departments & Tasks
Training Center Basics of metal technology such as scribing, punching, filing, drilling, turning and milling
Toolmaking Manufacture of individual parts for stamping and forming tools by activities such as milling, turning, grinding or drilling, assembly and initial sampling of complex stamping and forming tools.
Punching shop Manufacture of punched parts, set-up and operation of punching machines, maintenance and repair of tools.
Flexible sheet metal working Operating and loading of bending machines, laser cutting machines as well as punching laser machines

Requirements

  • Good secondary school diploma or (technical) high school diploma
  • good performance in mathematics and physics
  • technical interest, manual skills
  • good spatial imagination
  • Ability to work in a team, commitment and reliability
